| Guerneville hosts two music festivals on Johnson
Beach each summer, a Blues Festival at the beginning of the
summer and a Jazz Festival at the end of summer. The Vineman and
Barb's race take place in Guerneville during July & August.
These are qualifier races for the Iron-man Triathlon which takes
place in Hawaii. Many other visitors rent canoes at locations a
few minutes
upstream of
Guerneville,
such as
Mirabel
Beach or
Forestville,
& spend a
day cruising
downstream,
through calm
water &
occasional mild rapids. |
